  I know that funeral homes don't get "rave reviews" often, I'm sure only from the fact that it is a time of grieving and a difficult time for families of a lost loved one, but our little Libby Funeral Home is an exception! When my mother-in-law moved up to Libby from the deep South, I had visions of "spolin' her rotten" and making her senior years the best ever. But that dream was not to be realized....soon after arriving here she became very ill and had to spend the rest of her days between the hospital and the Care Center until God took her Home! She had no family or close friends here so there was no one to grieve with us over her loss. But Mr. Steve Schnackenberg came to our aid and rescue. He gave us genuine compassion and caring and helped us through this tough time, even knowing that my mother-in-law did not have any burial insurance and no income and that we are on disability and had very little money. Steve helped to take care of us like we were his family and his caring was not an "act" it was the real deal and I am grateful for that. Even though he has the only funeral home in this area, that is all the more reason to "not care" as much as he does, but he does! Thank you Schnackenberg and Nelson for your 'above and beyond', (no pun intended :-) service. Jan and Thomas Glover
